''They are not long, the days of wine and roses:
Out of a misty dream
Our path emerges for a while, then closes,
Within a dream.''

A tornado victim

'... she was rising from the floor as the roof twisted and the walls crumbled.'

I have a flash fiction piece online now at Micro Literature.

She was slim once.

The story is fiction, yet I am affected by these types of tragedies, as indeed, many people are and I felt moved to write. I wanted to make the victim real rather than a simple statistic.

Please swing by and leave a comment, small independent publications really appreciate knowing that people are reading. It would make me happy too.

Thank you!

Here are a couple of other stories you may like, both of which are based on true events.
