My Grandmother Nell, (born 1926) was brought up in a farming environment in country Victoria, Australia.
We spent a day going to see her first house and then to a farm where her grandmother, and later Uncle and Aunty lived. Both houses are abandoned now.
Complete with a few old photos to give you a fuller historical context.
It was my first time to these places. It turned out to be quite a moving and interesting experience.
If you don't want to watch it all, there's a nice photo montage at 14 min set to music. But I recommend you do. There's some interesting stories and beautiful music along the way.
