A damn weird video. What is it? What does it mean?

I made this art video in 2013. I don't recall my thought processes or what it was all for other than I like trees and videoing and being creative. Less so these days but at the time I was very productive. The soundtrack added another element.

I thought I'd share it after it's been sitting on my hard-drive for 11 years.

As to what it means, you decide. Then perhaps let me know your interpretation.

Our safe history - Laziness and cliches

Art, like beauty, is the eye of the beholder. Your interpretation is all that matters.

Here's one from the vault, never shared.

F Pencil Life

The sixties were only three things

Vietnam protests, drugs

And psychedelica.

The seventies were only

Watergate, Star Wars and bell-bottoms.

The rush of the eighties

Saw fluorescent yuppies on Wall Street.

Kurt Cobain only had Courtney Love

Grunge and Heroin.

Y2K Mish-mash,

Free-for-all disappointment

Whittled down to summary safe

Dot points

Exploding misinformation

Complexities

And opposing actualities

Let alone undercurrent subtexts

And pre-encumbered sentiments

Coveted

From prior generations.

Your underestimation

Is ensuing.

My Third (and final) Nude Shoot

In late May 2020, I took part in my third Photography Shoot with renown artist, Spencer Tunick.
It was done online, as part of a ongoing Covid exhibition entitled Life During Wartime. The final images are below.

Third from Left, Third from Bottom, in all three shots.

Also below are the images from the first shoots I took part in. Sydney 2010 and Melbourne 2001. While not quite the amazing experience the first two were, this one was more personal with Spencer talking to us, peering into our homes and giving us direction by name.

Melbourne 2001 - Early Sunday morning on the cold wet tram tracks, in the middle towards the front.
Freezing but probably the best of the three as it was the first. Crazy fun.

2010  - I'm at the base of the steps, roughly in the middle. Much warmer..

I feel very fortunate to have taken part in any of his sessions, let alone three over twenty years. However, the way this body is going, I think I'll retire gracefully.

Peace.
