My Zygote is in their Coffee.

I have two poems in the May/June 2014 issue of Zygote in my Coffee.

Warning: These guys are crazy.

Here is the Contents Page.

The Poems are called Pressing & Miscalculations before Reflection. They are both about Youth, living too hard and going crazy.

Um....  Eggs with your coffee?

Coming Up: I have a special offer to celebrate the one year anniversary since the release of Caged Without Walls, my debut poetry collection. You really don't need to be into poetry to appreciate these items of prose, er poetry, whatever. It will be offered at more than 50% off PLUS a free copy of my debut novella, Bottomless River. Limited stock. Stay tuned!

  1. I like "thrusts rage into a sulking corner" both for its powerful wording and the cathartic effect it would give me were I able to do so.

Your second poem reads like many college kids' experiences. I kinda wished I'd had those carefree, wild, wreckless nights, but I'm relieved I didn't.

Well done, sharply human - as always, Anthony. It looks like a fun e-publication. CONGRATULATIONS! xo

  2. Like the line about urgency blunting the senses, as people in a rush don't see. Like the other poem about not reflecting on youth too, there's too much to be embarrassed about.

  3. I like them both Anthony. You struck a chord.
Unfortunately, I spent about two decades living like that and worse. That was followed by about five years of therapy and counseling trying to learn how to have some genuine feelings.
