Out with the old (unpublished cover) and in with the new!

Hey my friend,

I hope youre doing okay, if not great!

True Love Kills is no more.

I was never fully happy
with this cover. The couple
in the window just didn't work like I hoped.

The title sounded too much like a true crime novel, which does feature a crime, a murder, and is true, but the novel is far more than that. A real coming of age story that you can relate to, teenagers searching for their identity and making many mistakes (and hilarious incidents) along the way. It's a very bumpy ride, which we can attest to. However, someone will end up dead. And it's true.

One girl, Laura, after being expelled from her previous school, joins Jai's group. The chaos is only just beginning. When Laura meets Xavier, it's a meeting that changes all their lives forever.

Laura is beautiful, but she is trouble. She is The Wrong Kind of Beautiful. And so that's the new title.

Here are two versions I came close to but ultimately I've gone with another. All will be revealed soon!

What do you think?
This one with the flame more resembles the danger that Laura brings.

So it's a theme I've settled on, even though I like the first one a lot.
