What are these Stories of Pseudo Stars - Part 2/2

What sort of stories can I expect to find in Pseudo Stars?

(Part 2 of 2)
Glad you asked.
Here are a few snippets:

The Last Great Ice Shelf

Dr Bale is an entrepreneur. And a serial masturbator.

He’s built a plush resort on the Southern polar caps, or what’s left of them.
It’s opening weekend. It’s bound to be a doozy.

Undercover environmental terrorists have other ideas.

Her Waterfall Tears
A teenager and an older man form a precarious sexual relationship.
Told in reverse.

The Long Jetty
An old man remembers his wife, but a custom must end.

The Loop
A young man has an unexpected experience on the city bound train.
A metaphor for the classes.

Officer Material

Has he got what it takes?
Set in a brutal war zone on a bleak alien world.
Inspired by an actual soldier’s diary from WW2

..and more besides! Perfect to fill those short and rare, quiet minutes.
You know.. those with short attention spans.

A perfect gift for Christmas!

Part 1 is here.

Book available very soon!
Plus Video Trailer.
Plus launching brand new website to purchase the books.
And very exciting Interview Series with some very well known
authors and musicians. It's going to be great!

  2. Sounds very diverse - a strange line up of genre and non-genre, but Peter Carey did that in his great collection written in 1974, "The Fat Man in History", which included a science fiction story mixed with what some might call magic realism stories.

    1. I've heard of that collection. May have even read it. Yes the mix is very diverse. I'm hoping the theme of 'Stars in their Eyes', deluded souls etc reverberates throughout. i think it does for most. But then again, I'm not the best judge. Be interesting to see how others feel it flows.
Personally, I like a good mix up. I think there's enough unity. We'll see!
